Major Series Coming to Portland and Los Angeles
Over the years, It Is Written has discovered time and again that evangelism still works in North America. In addition to television, online, satellite, and resource outreach efforts, the ministry believes strongly in the impact a full-message evangelistic campaign can have on a city.
Incredible results have recently emerged from It Is Written meetings in places like San Diego, Denver and Phoenix, and in the next two years, the ministry is dreaming big and tackling two of the largest cities in North America.
In early 2008, Pastor Shawn Boonstra will preach the Good News in Portland—direct from the massive Oregon Convention Center. In conjunction with the Oregon Conference and North Pacific Union Conference, this event will reach out to one of the most secular regions of the nation.
The following year, It Is Written will attempt to impact the second largest metropolitan area in the United States: Los Angeles. Along with the Southern California Conference and the Pacific Union Conference, It Is Written will take a unique approach to covering this large area. Rather than holding one major meeting, the ministry will hold a number of them in key locations. Plus, in an effort to reach the diverse cultures of this melting pot, a myriad of translators will ensure that language won't be an obstacle for those who want to hear the Word.
