Prayers Needed for Peru's "Grand Caravan of Hope"
Two years ago, It Is Written traveled to Peru to participate in the Grand Caravan of Hope, which yielded more than 35,000 baptisms and prompted the Peru Union Mission to invite the team back for a major effort in 2007.
In preparation for this event, church leaders and laypeople have conducted a record 25,000 small group meetings followed by hundreds of pastoral evangelistic meetings.
From June 17-30, Pastor Shawn Boonstra, Pastor Robert Costa and the It Is Written team will conduct a caravan series in the major cities of Peru. All of these efforts will culminate on Sabbath, June 30, during a massive rally in Lima's 45,000-seat National Stadium.
