And here’s the really strange part—even though we’re moving at speeds our ancestors would have deemed miraculous, most people still complain about the same thing. They just don’t have enough time. It is one of the strangest homes in the world. Luxuriously located on more than 160 acres, it took 38 years to build, and in reality, it still isn't finished. The only reason it is not still under construction is because the owner is dead. Why did one person need such a large home? And why does it feature some of the strangest construction in the world, including staircases that go nowhere and a window built into the floor? Tune in this week, as the answer might surprise you.

Dogs can often pick up on the anger and bitterness felt by their owners—even to the point of acting it out. And if that can happen with a bunch of dogs, what do you think happens when our anger and bitterness spill over onto other people? What are the full implications of the sixth commandment?

Veteran’s Day is a special time of year set aside to honor those who are willing to lay their lives on the line for the good of their country. They are men and women who put on a uniform and take the ultimate risk so that you and I can live in the safety and comfort we take for granted every day of our lives. Today on It Is Written, Pastor Boonstra will interview a special guest who knows what it means to follow Jesus while wearing a uniform.

The marriage relationship adds levels of intimacy passion and love that clearly demonstrate a God who wanted to give us a wonderful gift. However, in some peoples’ experience, it’s a huge source of misery and suffering. If it’s really a gift from God, then why does it turn out wrong so much of the time?
